DEFINITELY A-Z.

So I’m usually pretty proficient in spell checking my work – but blogging is a whole new arena where the normal rules of writing (an article? an essay? a review?) don’t apply.

When I do (inevitably) slip up you can rest assured a friend of ours will always use the email form to write in and tell me just that. So this one’s for you Karina.

Check the rest HERE.

And if you want to see Karina in action you can click this image to see her hoopin’ – very cool.

OBAMA RAAAAAMA.

If your an avid follower of lovejungle.com you know we love branding. So when I watched this video from Scott Thomas – designer of the Obama campaign – I had to post it, even though it’s probably not the “coolest” thing I could blog about today.

The amount of work that must have gone into this campaign is crazy. The website, the consistency in design, the simplicity, the message… all tied together to create what is arguably the biggest brand in the world. And yes, I’d say Obama and his political campaign was essentially an exercise in branding. What isn’t these days?

Branding is about communicating a message effectively – which means creating something that people are able to identify with across all mediums – and I reckon these guys hit the nail on the head.

If you’re like us, and love branding; design; inspiration and hard work, you should definitely cruise around the rest of this website – the99percent.com – it’s probably one of the best sites I’ve visited in a long time.

But, if you’re just a plain old white-supremist this ones for you:

Although I must say that this video also raises some valid points. If you’ve got a spare two hours, and don’t mind changing your opinion of Obama somewhat, it’s mildly entertaining.

Sorry, did I just get off track there?

Speaking of inspiration, here’s a few things that are inspiring us at the moment:

1. Freshjive – reinventing their brand. Read the full story here.

2. The new Ksubi website.

3. L.A. – as per usual really.

4. Anything mildly related to this:

Some real Love Jungle news coming soon. Promise.
