This video is amazing.
So well done. Perfectly up to date. And extremely interesting.
Good Copy Bad Copy is a film about the current state of copyright and culture. Not just online culture. But music, film, art, tv, and any or all other creations that people dream up. This is a film about the way the world works. The way in which ideas are distributed, built upon, and subsequently immersed in a new culture. And most importantly – it’s about music.
If you’ve ever downloaded a song. Watched YouTube. Enjoyed a DJ. Loved the remix better than the original. Or gasped over the abilities of your mates iPhone. You should probably watch this movie.
Cameos from: GirlTalk, Danger Mouse, this guy, and a bunch of cool Brazilians.
And as a gift to you all (even those who don’t watch): Dangermouse – The Grey Album.

I love Danger Mouse but I’ve never heard this album before now. What an amazing concept perfectly executed.
In 2004, Dangermouse mixed Jay-Z’s vocals from his Black Album with the music from The Beatles White Album. Initially beginning the experiment as an art project, he subsequently passed some CD’s on to some of his friends, who uploaded them to the internet, and now, well, you can’t stop it – watch the movie.
I won’t actually provide you with a link to the album because I’m sure those of you who want it, will get it. Hell, you might even pay for it.
Get off Facebook people. There’s much more out there.
